Ghanaian politician and member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kennedy Agyapong has indicated that he is ready to lead his party in the next general elections in 2024.
It has been weeks since the Member of Parliament for Assin Central started speaking about his presidential aspirations.
During a recent submission at a social gathering, he re-affirmed his decision by saying;
“If NPP opens nominations, I will pick forms… those who pick forms and quit, does he look like me? At 62 years, how can I declare my flagbearership ambitions in the NPP and quit, I am not quitting.
We are all going to run, just that what I don’t want is dirty politics. I am not going to do dirty politics. I will go to the people and tell them what I have done for the NPP and Ghanaians and for which reason they should vote for me.”
Meanwhile, Kennedy Agyapong was allegedly knocked down by an ailment some months ago. He allegedly battled with stroke in the United States of America and this was per speculations made on social media.
Per an IG post made by the Instagram influencer, Aba_The_Great, a Ghanaian politician who is very influential and famous is down with a stroke in the USA. Although the post never made mention of the name of the subject, some social media users predicted it to be none other than Hon. Kennedy Agyapong.
