Many Ghanaians are really finding it hard to comprehend why the government has failed to prosecute embattled CEO of defunct gold dealership entity, Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah who is popularly known as NAM 1.
Well, outspoken politician cum MP for Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has shed more light on why the government can’t prosecute NAM 1.
Speaking in a recent interview on his Net2 TV station, Kennedy Agyapong revealed that the reason why the government can’t prosecute NAM 1 is that his activities were not governed by any banking regulations.
According to Kennedy Agyapong, the government would have loved to prosecute him but as it stands they can’t due to how he carried out his activities.
