Kevin-Prince Boateng, Ghana Black Star Player has promised to support families of the colts team who died in the Offinso road accident a week ago in any possible way he can to sooth the families pain of losing their children.

In an interveiw he granted with Joy News, he said he called a friend to verify the truth in the matte when he saw the sad news on social media.

“I heard about it, and it really made me sad. I first saw it on Social Media, and I called a friend to find out if it was true. He told me about it, and I felt really sad because I have kids of my own. One is 12, and one is 6. So, it is a big tragedy, and it hits me hard”,

He added “Anything that is necessary, I want to help. I want to get in touch with the families. I want to give them the necessary support to feel free. I know it’s hard, and I know how hard it is for parents to bury their children.”

Seven colt footballers died after a minivan they were traveling with lost control and jumped into the Offin river on their way home after the registration exercise in Afrancho in the Ashanti region.

The two injured players have been discharged from the hospital and will undergo a restorative seminar from the FA and a medical team from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
