After the death of Kaaka Macho who was also a part of the Economic Fighters League and, more recently, the #FixTheCountry movement, and was reportedly attacked by a crowd at around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 26, 2021.

The youth of Ejura took to the street to seek justice for the fallen activist. Some military officers were deployed to the scene to calm the massing youth but unfortunately, matters took a different turn.

Two persons were reportedly killed after the officers opened fire on the unarmed protestors. Four others were also injured in the process of the clash on Tuesday.

According to the IGP, it is the legal right of every officer to use lethal force against protestors when he or she deems it appropriate. He said that when the officer is under force, it is allowed for him or her to use lethal force on them.

It is at the back of this that KOD is saying that there is nothing in the head of the “Heaven IGP”. According to him, the IGP should have left such comments for the PR of police rather than pass it himself.

He wrote; “He should always leave the talking to the police PR. There’s nothing in his head. You should see someone like him when he is on retirement.”
