Whilst the world is struggling to deal with the Coronavirus epidemic, government officials in Japan has passed a law which serves in the interest of persons in failed relationships.

A labor law has been passed in Japan which allows employees to go on leave for days as victims of heartbreak.

The legislature in Japan agreed that heartbreak is worth taking days off work.

A member of the legislature explained; “Employees who recently suffered a heartbreak can take work off for a brief period as long as they validate their heartbreak. Employers have the right to seek further proof to be sure the heartbreak is valid. An Employer has the right to insist that you see a professional if your heartbreak is severe.

Some workplaces will offer work from home heartbreak leave without any type of production cap. If you heal your heartbreak by working it’s fine you can work from home or you can just continue to go to work as usual.

The severity of a heartbreak is calculated using simple things like how long have you been together, what lies where you told, were you married, were you engaged, how dependent were you on the person, how many of your friends like the person, do you share a pet together, do you know their bank account balance, etc. Every workplace will have a software that calculated heartbreak severity.

Lying on your heartbreak test could get you fired or suspended from work and in some cases, it can have you arrested. “It’s better to let people deal with their heartbreak the best way they know-how, forcing them to work could lead to suicide”’
