The President of Liberia, President George Weah, has penned down a heart-warming congratulatory message to Senegalese attacker Sadio Mane after winning the topmost award at the CAF Awards 2020.
Sadio Mane who plays his football in England for Liverpool FC emerged the CAF African Player of the Year 2019.
In a Facebook post, President George Weah wrote:
“I wish to congratulate Sadio Mane for winning the African Player of the Year Award. I am very proud of him for such a landmark achievement; and hope that it will serve as an inspiration to other aspiring African professional footballers. It is my prayer that he will continue to represent his Country and Africa with grit and enthusiasm. Sadio Mané”
