The General Overseer of International Central Gospel Church, Pastor Mensa Otabil and his wife, Joy Otabil, have taken to social media to celebrate their 35th Wedding Anniversary.
The couple has been married for 35 years now and their bond seems to grow stronger by the day.
Pastor Otabil took to his Facebook page in the late hours of Tuesday, November 22, 2021, to celebrate his wife as he marked their wedding anniversary.
In celebration of the anniversary, the renowned ‘man of God’ doting photos with his wife as he professed his love for her.
Meanwhile, Former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s wife, Aduke Obasanjo, has stated it is not right for women to expect their spouses to apologise in all situations even if the men are to be blamed for the wrongdoing.
Mrs. Obasanjo, who was speaking on behalf of her husband and giving advice to ladies on how to retain their homes, advised women against engaging outsiders in their relationships.
She encouraged married women paying bills in their homes not to insult their husbands, stating it is an honor for women to have the title ‘Mrs.’
She made her submission on Sunday at the 41st Adult Harvest Celebration of the Celestial Church of Christ International Headquarters, Ketu, Lagos State.
She said, “Women who shoulder the responsibilities of their husbands are only lucky to be blessed by God; it’s never enough for them to disrespect their husbands.
“Instead of expecting a man to say sorry, women should learn how to lead their husbands to the bedroom and touch them romantically. Whatever you do in the house will have an impact on the children and those children are the seed that will give us rest of mind. The rest of mind you give your husband is important.”
