The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) and the Ghana Education Service (GES) have partnered to guarantee that this year’s West African Senior School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE) be administered fairly and honestly.

Cassandra Twum Ampofo, the head of public relations at the GES, issued a press statement on August 29, 2022, wishing all candidates well and promising everyone that there will be no cheating or other violations in the exams as they start their written exams today.

“Management of GES has worked very closely with the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) to ensure the smooth conduct of the examinations throughout the country.

Regional/Metro/Municipal/District Directors, Supervisors and Invigilators are to take extra precautionary measures to ensure that this year’s examinations are malpractice free,” the press release noted.
