A very daring man who goes by the name Francisco Herrera Argueta, tried to escape from prison when he dressed as woman. He wore a skirt, blonde wig, and nail polish as he pretended to be a female visitor leaving the jail in San Pedro.
Unfortunately he was caught after guards noticed he was his gait was ‘not feminine’ and ‘speaking in a man’s voice.’ We gathered that despite his ‘flaws’, he still but still managed to pass through several security filters on his way to the exit. The 55-year old was trying to use an identity card belonging to Jacinta Elvira Araujo, a visitor who had earlier left it with security guards.
The prison’s spokesman said suspicious guards asked Francisco to remove his sunglasses for proper identification, adding: “The makeup couldn’t hide the fact that he was a man.”
Francisco, who has been incarcerated since September 2015 on murder and possession of firearms charges, now faces transfer to the notorious El Pozo jail, considered Honduras’ most dangerous facility.
We guess he has to take lessons from Michael Scofield next time he wants to escape.
