Manchester United have extended midfielder Paul Pogba’s contract until 2022.

The Red Devils triggered the one-year option on Pogba’s contract to keep him at the club for the next two years.

His recent comments about Real Madrid suggested that he would probably not end his career at United.

“It is a dream for me, why not one day? But I play for Manchester United and I love my club. I perform for Manchester United, I have fun and I want to do everything to put the club where it deserves to be .

“I will give my maximum, like my team-mates.”

Pogba rejoined United from Juventus for a club record £89m in 2016.
