Ghanaian Photographer John Seyiram Kofi Amegatse Known professionally by colleagues and clients as “theSeyram” is currently one of the fast-rising photographers in Ghana with experience in several fields of photography and a unique approach to visual creativity.
Born and raised in Ghana, theSeyram’s original vision was portrait and street photography but has partnered with clients and colleagues that have given him the opportunity to travel around the world to produce amazing images.
TheSeyram’s observation through his lens has inspired him to be more proactive creatively and help be an agent of change and development through the use of his camera.
His Career as a photographer has given him the opportunity to work with some brands
like the French Ambassador Miss Anne Sophie AVE, Fidelity Bank, First Atlantic Bank, Tecno Ghana, 1xBet, DevTraco, Caveman Watches, Jumia among others. Speaking to ghgossip on what are his biggest lessons as a photographer so far, he said “shooting everyday are lessons and opportunities to learn and build new skill sets”.
The KNUST graduate also indicated that Clients prefer working with him because he listens and understand what they need and delivers that and more. Asking him what inspired his Nissan shoot that went viral, he stated “I was in car on the desert doing the dune bashing, I saw how the cars were moving but the strength and balance of the Nissan cars was top notch and I said to myself there hasn’t been any shoot around the Nissan patrol around the world in a desert so i can make a difference and in doing that I can put Ghana and my career on the map. So it was totally unplanned but with determination and focus I nailed it and the feedback I have been getting after making that post has been amazing”
His love for growth and development in people and the community as whole has become his goal which is to show the beauty and grace of his country through his works.
