Aggrieved customers of defunct gold dealing company, Menzgold, have served a notice that their vote will depend on government’s attitude on retrieving their locked up funds from Nana Appiah Mensah (Nam1).

They indicated that the government has not shown enough commitment to it’s effort in collecting their monies.

Their notice came up after the Ceo Nam1 claimed he had paid over Ghc 9 million to the customers of the defunct company through Payboy.

Spokesperson for the aggrieved customers, Godfrey Ankomah expressed in an interview on Starr Fm that the state appears lackadaisical with the court’s case involving the businessman.

According to him, he explained that they can’t fight Nam1 on their own and the government is not showing any signs of commitment to their case.

“The prosecutor is dragging its feet. In this case nothing is happening in court. The judge is rather putting pressure on the prosecutor, we see some flip flop somewhere. He noted.

The customers also demanded that the Security and Exchange Commission boss should be removed since he is not doing enough to retrieve their monies for them.

Mr. Godfrey Ankomah stated that they are not asking government to pay them their money because they didn’t invested in government. “We are citizens and if something bad happened the state must care”.

He concluded that every serious Menzgold customer vote will depend on what government will do in regards to it’s commitment to help them retrieve their locked up funds.
