The coach of Ghana’s senior soccer team, Black Stars, Otto Addo has indicated that most of the current Black Stars players will make it to the World Cup.

He even gave an actual figure saying about 70 percent will be in Qatar and he made this known during the post-match press conference of the match between the Black Stars and Central American country, Nicaragua.

In his submission, he said;

“70 percent of the players currently on international duty with Ghana’s squad who meet Nicaragua in Lorca, Spain on Tuesday will be in Qatar.

The remaining 30 percent will be tight decisions. We’re watching the players closely for the next few games to see who could play for Qatar in October.”

Meanwhile, Ghanaian sports journalist, Patrick Osei Agyemang who is widely known as Countryman Songo has sent some words to the Black Stars coach, Otto Addo.

The controversial and outspoken journalist sent out these words via his verified social media handle on the popular social media platform, Twitter.

According to him, instead of the coach looking elsewhere to bring in players abroad to play for the Black Stars, he should add some local players because they deserve better.

The post he made reads;

“Otto Addo, augment your squad with our local boys, they deserve better,
