Ghana’s President, President Nana Akufo-Addo has in a recent submission has indicated that most Ghanaians are really loving the way he is fighting against corruption in the country touting his government’s achievements in the fight against corruption.

He emphatically indicated that although there have been attempts by political opponents to brand his government as corrupt, he has shown 100% commitment at fighting the malice.

He told supporters of the ruling party in Canada that, he has shown by deeds in the fight against corruption and not by words.

“It, therefore, does not come as a surprise that, in the Global Corruption Barometer, conducted by Transparency International and Afrobarometer, 60% of Ghanaians, in 2019, believe the government is doing a good job at fighting corruption, as opposed to 25% in 2015,” he said in his submission.

He added that Ghana has also been projected by the IMF, to be the fastest-growing economy in the entire world, with a projected GDP growth rate of 8.8%, further revealing that economic indicators show Ghana is on the right path and this has led to the country benefitting from foreign direct investment in the sub-region.

However, President Akufo-Addo added that only hard work, innovation, creativity can move Ghana to the next level and produce wealth for Ghanaians.
