Ghanaian politician cum actor, John Dumelo has revealed most of the luxurious cars given to politicians are loaned to them and they eventually pay off with their monthly salaries.

In an interview with Nana Romeo Welewele of Accra100.5 FM, John Dumelo stated that the expensive cars are mostly given to them as loans and they are being deducted from their monthly salaries.
Most Ghanaians presumed that politicians are mostly handed Land Cruiser V8’s immediately they assume office. This was alleged to be given to them alongside some other allowances and privileges like security, free fuel and other benefits.
Well, John Dumelo stated that the last time he spoke to a parliamentarian, he was told that the cars are given to them as loans and they pay off those loans with their salaries.

In other news, Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, well known as Bullgod has said that the President, H.E Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo Addo and his NPP government have failed to honor most of the promises they made in their manifesto.
According to him, the ruling government have failed to stick to their words and have done directly opposite of most of the things they promised Ghanaians before assuming office.
Speaking with Zionfelix on the Uncut Show, Bullgod said that the Free SHS policy introduced by Akufo Addo’s government has been revised because parents are now being asked to pay certain things for their wards in schools.
He lamented that every political party has their own agendas which as a result has jeopardized the development of the country.
He suggested that the country needs to have a developmental plan that every political party would follow the moment they assume office and they will be held accountable if they fail to accomplish their tasks or fulfill their promises.
