Top Ghanaian reggae music composer and member of the Twelve Tribes of Israel Rastafari Movement, Black Prophet breaks his long silence with this latest project captioned; “Forgive Us”.
The beautifully crafted record which was performeed on ‘Forgive I Jah Riddim’ was released under the imprint of Anotha One Productions.
Black Prophet, real name Kenneth Wilberforce Zonto Bossman in 1998 dropped his debut solo album; ‘No Pain No Gain’ with his backing band, the Thunder Strike. His song, ‘Doubting Me’ bagged an award for the best reggae song of the year at the Ghana National Music Awards in 2017.
Black Prophet has worked with top tier reggae artists including Rita Marley, Pliers, Don Carlos, Yellowman, Steel Pulse, Lucky Dube, Alpha Blondy, Buju Banton, Dean Fraser, among others.
He has performed at various festivals including Oland Roots, Irie Vibes Festival and Afrika Festival Delft.
