Popular Ghanaian prophet and the founder and leader of the Ghana Union Movement (GUM), Osofo Kyiri Abosom, has debunked claims that the General Overseer of God’s Way International Church, Angel Obinim is his running mate as he runs for president in the upcoming December elections.
As earlier reported, Osofo Kyiri Abosom stormed the Angel Obinim’s church during an ongoing prayer and deliverance service to campaign for votes after declaring his presidential candidacy.
In a conversation Osofo Kyiri Abosom had on Citi FM, he disclosed that he is yet to find a running mate as he starts his campaign tour.
According to the controversial preacher, he will need a piece of advice from the National Chief Imam to guide him with the selection.
“My running mate will be a Muslim. I want a Muslim who also has a fear of God in him; a Mallam. I just want people who have the fear of God in them. I don’t know any Mallam but I have given it up to the Muslim community and the Chief Imam. I’ve visited him and told him that so they will get somebody for me,” he stated.
