The president of the republic, Nana Akufo-Addo has directed Ursula Owusu to suspend her implementation directive given to Ghana Broadcasting Corporation.

The Ministry of communication gave GBC ultimatum to reduce its channels on the Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) platform.

The GBC has been going back and forth with the Minister of Communications, Ursula Owusu over the said implementation being done by the ministry.

GBC refused to adhere to directives given by the ministry and called on the National Media Authority to interfere.

A press statement issued from the Office of the President by Director of Communication, Eugene Arhin on Thursday, July 23, 2020, reveals that the Ursula Owusu should suspend her implementation on the DTT platform.
