His comments came after the leader of the Glorious Power Word Ministry International. Owusu Bempah was arrested and denied bail by an Accra High court. Owusu Bempah together with three of his junior pastors were remanded into police custody for threatening the life of Nana Agradaa.

Recall, the man of God and his guys invaded the premises of Nana Agradaa with guns and other weapons, threatening to deal with her if she steps down from her mansion to face them.

Also, it is alleged that Owusu Bempah who boasts of his relationship with the President has tried using his affiliations to bail himself out of jail but all efforts have proven futile.

In reaction, Prophet Nigel Gaisie has said that the President has betrayed Owusu Bempah big time for failing to use his position to effect the release of the pastor. According to him, he understands no one is above the law but Owusu Bempah’s relationship with the President should have gotten him bailed out of prison.

“For me to answer your question, it’s not worth it to die for any party or any politician in Ghana. You know I’m blunt, they have betrayed him. Where he is currently is not the best of places. You have arrested him but I was thinking that they will be gracious enough to bail him but to remanded him again is not the best, he said.

We have politicians in this country we all know who have said worse things on TV and exposed people on TV and the next minute they died but they are walking free and their positions are being increased each day, he added.

However, he said the current predicament that has befallen Owusu Bempah should be a wake-up call for all pastors in the country to unite and not follow political parties.
