Nathan Aké parents-Dutch professional footballer, Nathan Benjamin Aké was born on February 18th, 1995 in The Hague in Netherlands.
Aké stands at a height of 1.8 m tall and weighs 71kg. His family is praised for keeping grassroots football in their hometown of Voorburg near The Hague, Netherlands.
At the age of 15, Aké consented to transfer from Feyenoord to the Chelsea youth program. He began playing for Feyenoord at the age of 12 after switching from ADO Den Haag. At the age of 17, Aké made his Premier League debut on December 26, 2012, against Norwich City, coming on to replace Juan Mat a late in a 1-0 victory at Carrow Road.

On February 27, 2013, he earned his first start for the team in the FA Cup during a 2-0 victory over Middlesbrough of the Championship.
In the second leg of Chelsea’s UEFA Europa League quarterfinal encounter against Rubin Kazan in Russia on April 11, which ended in a 3-2 loss but produced a 5-4 aggregate victory, he was chosen to start in a defensive midfield position for Chelsea.
Aké did not play for Chelsea in their 2-1 victory over Benfica in the Europa League final on May 16 at the Amsterdam Arena.
On May 16, he received the Chelsea Young Player of the Year award. Three days later, on May 18, he started his debut Premier League game against Everton at Stamford Bridge, a 2-1 victory.
Aké re-signed with Chelsea on August 8, 2013, on a new five-year deal that runs through 2018. After being permanently promoted to the first team, Aké made his UEFA Champions League debut on October 21, 2014, coming off the bench to replace Cesc Fàbregas in the 60th minute of a 6-0 home victory over Maribor and assisting on Eden Hazard’s second goal.
In a 1-1 tie with Cardiff City ten days after being loaned to Championship team Reading for one month, Aké made his first of five games.
After agreeing to a new five-year contract with Chelsea, Aké finalized a season-long loan move to the newly promoted Premier League team Watford on August 14, 2015. He made his Hornets debut eleven days later in a League Cup second-round game against Preston North End that resulted in a 1-0 loss for his team.
On September 19, 2015, Aké made his Premier League debut off the bench against Newcastle United, helping Watford cling on for a 2-1 victory. In the fourth minute of a 3-0 victory over Liverpool at Vicarage Road on December 20, he scored his first goal as a senior when goalkeeper Dám Bogdán mishandled a corner ball.
For the 2016–17 season, Aké moved to AFC Bournemouth on loan on June 29, 2016. He replaced Jordon Ibe in Bournemouth’s 1-0 away loss to West Ham United on August 21 after teammate Harry Arter was sent off for a challenge on Cheikhou Kouyaté.
In their match against Liverpool on December 4, 2016, Bournemouth came back from a 3-1 deficit with 15 minutes remaining to win 4-3; Aké scored the game-winning goal in the 93rd minute, his third Premier League goal and second against Liverpool.
After being called up by Chelsea on January 8, 2017, Aké made his debut appearance for the team on January 28 in a 4-0 FA Cup fourth-round victory over Brentford, another West London club.
Aké began playing in the center of defense alongside David Luiz and César Azpilicueta on April 22, 2017, as Chelsea defeated rival Tottenham Hotspur 4-2 in the FA Cup semifinal at Wembley Stadium.
Aké returned to Premier League team Bournemouth on July 1, 2017, when the 2017 transfer window began, after committing to the club permanently on June 30, 2017, for a club-record £20 million transfer fee.
Aké signed a five-year contract with Manchester City on August 5, 2020. On September 21, Aké made his Premier League debut and began City’s season opener at home against Wolverhampton Wanderers, winning 3-1.
On September 15, 2021, ké scored his first Champions League goal in a 6-3 victory over RB Leipzig. Afterward, he disclosed that his father, who was terminally ill, had passed away soon after the objective.
Since his under-15 debut in 2009, Aké has competed for the Netherlands at every youth level, making a total of 54 appearances. He has served as the U17 and U19 teams’ captain.
Aké was a member of both teams who won the UEFA European Under-17 Championships in Serbia and Slovenia, respectively, in 2011 and 2012.
Through his father Moise, Aké was also qualified to represent the Ivory Coast. In a friendly matchup against Morocco in 2017, Aké made his senior international debut. Morocco was defeated 1-2 by the Netherlands.
