One of the communication officers for the largest opposition party in Ghana, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has reportedly committed suicide.
The deceased is identified as Randy Kwame Kportufe and he is the National Democratic Congress’s Communications Officer for the Nsawam Adoagyiri Constituency.
Per a report by 3News.com, the decomposing body of the deceased was found inside his apartment at Ankwa Doboro a suburb of the Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipality in the Eastern Region several days after he committed the act.
The report stated that his neighbors suspected something weird after the number of houseflies seen where he stays increased.
They started searching for him only to find a rope tied around his neck to the ceiling fan and at the moment, his family as well as other party officials have no clue about what led to his death.
Meanwhile, the hopes of a young Ghanaian lady who wanted to enter the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) have been cut short.
This was after she was denied recruitment to the force just because of stretch marks on her body. A video shared by 3News.com saw the lady crying uncontrollably as she thinks she was not treated fairly.
In the video, she said;
“I went through the process and I went for the selection but the woman said Ima having stretch mark’s on my body. I feel sad.”
