The biggest opposition party in Ghana, the National Democratic Congress has urged all protesters who will be joining the #MarchForJustice campaign to adhere to all the COVID-19 safety protocols tomorrow.

Recall GhGossip.com this morning pulled up an article that revealed the party has gained the green light to go ahead with their intended protester which is slated for tomorrow, Tuesday 6th July 2021.

The leadership of the party revealed the march is scheduled to begin at the Accra Mall at exactly 6 in the morning and they will march straight to the seat of the presidency, the Flagstaff House, and the Parliament of Ghana.

The General-Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia has issued out a directive urging all meaningful Ghanaians who will be participating in the march to adhere to all the necessary COVID-19 safety protocols.

Part of the statement reads;

All protesters should endeavor to wear face masks throughout the march. That is from the converging point to the endpoint.

Social distancing at arms length between rows of protesters should be maintained at all times throughout the march and physical contact avoided as much as possible.

Protesters should endeavor the use of hand sanitizers periodically in the course of the march.

Protesters should wash their hands at the endpoint before dispersing.

The party earlier has revealed the intended march is to ask for justice for the youth that suffered when the police and the military clashed with some youth of Ejura in the Ashanti region resulting in the death of three people.
