A photo of a newborn baby who was abandoned by the mother in the bush and later rescued by some good samaritans has generated mixed reactions on social media.

In one of the viral photos, the infant can be seen lying amongst thorny plants in a dense thicket with little or no human presence.

In another photo, a woman was seen ecstatically retrieving the baby from the bush. She was giddy with delight as she held the nude infant with weeds in her hair.

The actions of the woman shocked many as they wonder if she is the mother of the baby or a good Samaritan who just wanted to take sole responsibility for the baby.

Well, investigations have also commenced in locating the mother who abandoned the baby in the bushes.

In other news published on ghgossip.com, a policeman who is identified as Corporal Tanye Christopher of the Bono Region’s regional visibility has been detained for allegedly stealing a computer monitor and a system unit from the Sunyani Police Headquarters.

Corporal Christopher was exposed by a coworker, Sergent Daniel Nketia, who visited the former after he failed to report to duty at the Police Headquarters from May 9th to 15th, 2021, according to Police sitrep.

The suspect was brought to the police station and upon interrogation, he confessed to stealing the computer and quickly returned same after he received a phone call from the station officer.
