According to Hon. Rashid Pelpuo, Member of Parliament (MP) for Wa Central, Ghanaians should consider candidates for leadership posts notwithstanding their eloquence.

He believes that evaluating candidates seriously before they are elected will spare the nation the suffering it is currently experiencing.

Rashid Pelpuo believes that Ghanaians have failed in several fields, including the presidency, because they have associated intelligence with having perfect command of the King’s language.

“When citizens repose power and confidence on a person because of his or her power over language delivery without checking on their faith in what they say, the citizens will be cursing their souls with time. Always go beyond rhetoric. Lesson from Ghana,” he said in a tweet.

Recall that Hon. Rashid Pelpuo, a member of parliament (MP) for Wa Central urged Ghanaians not to abandon their hopes.

The legislator claimed that John Dramani Mahama, Ghana’s messiah, will return in the next few years.

According to him, the Akufo-Addo administration treated the people of Ghana unfairly, but John Dramani Mahama will give the country’s despondent inhabitants new hope.
