Nigerian Actor, Mr Ibu Reportedly Dead – Popular Nigerian actor cum comedian, John Okafor who is widely known as Mr Ibu has reportedly died.

The sad and sudden news of his death reportedly occurred on Saturday, March 2, 2024, and at the time of this report, there has not been any confirmation from his family concerning his cause of death.

His death has received reactions from social media users and some of these reactions can be found below;

About Mr Ibu

John Okafor, widely recognized by his stage name Mr. Ibu, was born on October 17, 1961, in Nigeria. Coming from Nkanu West L.G.A. in Enugu State, his early life was marked by hardship and resilience.

Following the passing of his father, young Okafor relocated to Sapele to live with his brother. In Sapele, he engaged in various odd jobs to sustain himself and provide for his family.

Despite the financial challenges, Okafor displayed determination to pursue education. He undertook menial tasks to fund his schooling endeavors. His journey led him through different occupations, from hairstyling to photography, and even a stint in a crate production company.

Although he gained admission to the College of Education in Yola, financial constraints forced him to withdraw. Undeterred, he later managed to enroll at the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) in Enugu, seizing the opportunity as soon as he could afford it.
