A notorious Telegram “apor” dealer identified as Jerusalema has reportedly been arrested by the National Security Operatives at Kasoa.

The suspect was said to have leaked some of the papers in the West African Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE). The arrest was said to have been made in the Central Region, Kasoa.

The news was revealed by an education NGO on Facebook, African Education Watch who wrote; Breaking News: Notorious Telegram WASSCE Apɔ Dealer, Jerusalema, has been arrested by National Security in Kasoa!

It would be vividly recalled that the West African Examination Council(WAEC) postponed the writing of the Physics and Business Management examination papers which were scheduled to be written on 15th September 2021.

According to reports, the two papers were canceled because of leakage of the question and answers through unknown means. The council has then decided to reschedule the date for the writing of the paper.

The Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Education, Kwasi Kwarteng in an interview confirmed the rescheduling of the exam paper. According to him, his information is that the decision was taken at the WAEC Management level and the latter is expected to come out soon to clarify matters.

However, reports coming in suggest that the examination will take place on Monday, 11th October 2021.
