Seasoned journalist, Kwaku Baako Jnr has advised the incumbent government led by Nana Akufo Addo to dissociate the party from the constant buffoonery the so-called Prophet of the Nation, Rev. Owusu Bempah exhibit.
According to him, Owusu Bempah’s antics is dragging the name of the party in the mud and it could have dire consequences on their electoral fortunes in the future.
He charged the NPP to be courageous enough to get rid of Owusu Bempah from having anything to do with the party and advised NPP bigwigs to stop giving prominence to Owusu Bempah who preaches with impunity fearing that some Ghanaians might not vote for the NPP during 2020 elections because of unchecked behavior by the latter.
Quite a number of NPP bigwigs are perceived to be worshipping with Rev Owusu Bempah because he is seen as the spiritual father of the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
The Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide Newspaper observed that the attitude of the prophet, especially his fake prophecies and utterances which revolve around politics, could spell doom for the party hence they need to act fast.
