The death of the young rapper was confirmed by his management in a statement on Wednesday, 15 November 2023 stating that Oladips died on Tuesday evening.

According to the statement, Oladips passed away at exactly 10:14 pm on Tuesday. In the late hours of Tuesday, videos made the rounds on social media of the “Maybe” crooner seeming to have collapsed as his friends surrounded him.
Before the video started to circulate, Oladips had taken to his Instagram stories to cry out for help.
