One person has been confirmed dead following an accident that occurred at Bawku in the Upper East Region.
According to a report from Zeb FM, a local radio station at Bawku, the accident involved a motorbike and a Hyundai Bus which caused the death of one person.

Speaking in an interview with Zeb FM, an eyewitness told the presenter that a Kumasi bound Hyundai Bus with registration number AS- 1943-21 from Bawku collided with an opsonic motorcycle with registration number M 2577-19 who was heading in the opposite direction at Natinga located near the Goil fuel station in Zebilla.
The victim who died after the collision was the motor rider who collided with the Hyundai bus. According to reports, he died instantly after the clash.
The cause of the accident is yet to be identified. The Zebilla police have however commenced investigations into the crash.
