Peter Cech, Chelsea’s technical and performance advisor, is the most recent employee to quit the organization since American businessman and Todd Boehly assumed ownership in a formal ceremony.
Bruce Buck, the club’s chairman, had resigned before Cech’s departure, and Marina Granovskaia, the person responsible for a number of club transfers in recent years, had also made her resignation known.
However, the club has also parted ways with Guy Laurence, its ex-chief executive, and Christopher Lollichon, its ex-director of goalkeeping.
Despite Boehly’s best efforts to retain Cech, he left the team.
Despite Todd Boehly’s desire to utilize his experience during the present transfer window, the former goalkeeper reportedly informed the American that it was time to move on.
“It has been a huge privilege to perform this role at Chelsea for the past three years,” Cech told club media.
“With the Club under new ownership, I feel now is the right time for me to step aside. I am pleased that the Club is now in an excellent position with the new owners, and I am confident of its future success both on and off the pitch.” he added
