The official final funeral rite of the late Ebony Reigns who died in a fatal accident on the Sunyani-Kumasi highway will be buried on Saturday, March 17, 2018, according to the bereaved family.

The date for Ebony’s final funeral rite was announced at the St Martins De Porres school at Dansoman, Accra yesterday (Feb. 18) during her one-week celebration which was graced by prominent people and thousands of Ghanaians from walks of life.

Almost all Ghanaian musicians, actors, politicians and other celebs were there to pay their respect to the iconic star.

This include Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Hon Catherine Afeku (Minister of Tourism Arts and Culture), Actor Kofi Adjorlolo, Akosua Adjapong, Opanka and a host of them.

Shatta Wale in particular was very emotional and wept for some few minutes before he addressed the thousands of mourners who were gathered. And when he finally gained his composure, he insulted all the hypocrites who ‘contributed to ebony’s death.’

Mother of Franky Kuri, the 27-years old lady who died with Ebony in the gory accident also graced Ebony’s one-week celebration, she was seen emotionally hugging Ebony’s mother.

The venue of the funeral has not been announced because according to Abeiku Santana who was the MC for one week celebration, the family has been overwhelmed by the mammoth crowd so they will deliberate and inform the general public.
