The Police have arrested Patricia Asiedua formerly known as Nana Agradaa, following allegations made by some members of her church for allegedly defrauding them.
It would be recall that, during the late hours of Saturday, October 8, 2022, several members of her church were captured in video that went viral on social media narrating how they were allegedly duped by Evangelist Mama Pat.
According to some aggrieved congregants, Nana Agradaa promised to double their monies through her special spiritual endowments. However, they ended up being disappointed after Nana Agradaa shut her church doors and left the church premises after delivering a sermon.

In a statement issued on October 9, 2022, the Police said, “Anyone who is a victim of the alleged money doubling scam should report to the Accra Regional Police Command for further action and to assist in the investigation.”
In an update, the Police has issued another statement confirming the arrest of the repented fetish priestess. “The Police have arrested Patricia Asiedua alias Nana Agradaa following allegations of money doubling scam levelled against her by some members of the public. The suspect is currently assisting police investigation”
