Superintendent Cepram McCarthy Zenge who happens to be the commander of the Half Assini Police Command has reportedly committed suicide.

According to reports, the deceased left behind a suicide note which reads “I’m fed up in this world”.
The news was confirmed by the PRO of the Western Regional Police, DSP Olivia Ewurabena Tawiah Adiku who also revealed that the Regional Police Commander, DCOP Felix Fosu Agyemang, and two other senior police officers have already begun investigations into the matter.
However, the body of the deceased has been deposited at the Police Mortuary in Accra for autopsy and preservation.
Supt McCarthy Zenge who is said to be in his late ’50s was posted to Half Assini in 2017 and hails from Nandom in the Upper West Region.
