South African president, President Cyril Ramaphosa has received his dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
The current chairman of the African Union shared photos of himself taking the vaccine on his verified social media handles.

Sharing the photo, he wrote;
“Just took the vaccine! #WeChooseVaccination“
He took the vaccine and shared on social media just to quash perceptions about the vaccine that the vaccine was made to kill Africans.
Such conspiracy theory has been lingering on for some months and this will go a long way to help South African choose to be vaccinated.
He shared these photos after he made a post about the first batch of COVID-19 vaccines arriving in South Africa.
