Ghanaian coach, Prosper Ogum Nartey has officially resigned as the head coach of reigning Ghana Premier League champions, Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

This comes after weeks of speculations that he has stepped down as the head coach of the Porcupine Warriors.

He released an official statement on his verified social media handle on the popular social media platform, Twitter.

In the statement, he stated that although his time with Kotoko was a short one, he was grateful that he was given the opportunity to serve. He also thanked the club’s management and the supporters of the club for the love they showed him during his tenure.

Meanwhile, The CEO of Ghanaian club, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah has revealed plans to build Kotoko’s own stadium.

According to him, if everything goes according to plan, the stadium will be ready within 18 months and it has been greeted positively by fans of the club.
