There have been reports that the University of Cape Coast has had some of its students robbed at gunpoint by armed robbers and this is currently Number 1 trending news on Twitter.

Per earlier reports, two students have been murdered in the process putting all the students in the fear of loosing their lives in school.
Well, according to the District Regional Commander of the Ghana Police Service, DSP Irene Oppong that is false. She said that the Police have patrolled the entire campus and according to their investigations, there was no sign of armed robbery in the school neither have they discovered any dead bodies on the campus.
She said that she believes that some people deliberately circulated the claims but there was no truth to it.
She also added that none of the students have been harmed and they are all going about their businesses peacefully.
