Later, she accepted a position as a Senior Systems Analyst at Pune’s Walchand Group of Industries.

She founded the Infosys Foundation in 1996 and has served as its trustee and a visiting professor at Bangalore University’s PG Center ever since. She was a professor at Christ University as well.
