Rodarius Marcell Green, professionally known as Rod Wave was born on August 27th, 1999 in St. Petersburg, Florida in the United States of America.
According to reports, his father was arrested by the authorities and sentenced to six years imprisonment when the rapper was still in primary school.
He has been hailed as a pioneer of soul trap for his powerful voice, blending of hip-hop and R&B, and soul trap. The 2019 song “Heart on Ice,” which went viral on YouTube and TikTok and peaked at number 25 on the Billboard Hot 100, helped Wave
