Cristiano Ronaldo has finally recovered from coronavirus and is expected to return to action soon.

The Juventus star contracted the deadly virus 19 days ago, while on international duty with the Portuguese national team. He tested positive twice times after that, but he is now cleared to return to the field.

“Cristiano Ronaldo carried out a check with a diagnostic test [swab] for COVID-19,” Juventus statement read.

“The exam provided a negative result. The player has, therefore, recovered after 19 days and is no longer subjected to home isolation.”

In his absence, Juventus have won just one of their four matches in all competitions and were beaten 2-0 at home by Barcelona in the Champions League in midweek.
