We have chanced upon a report that revealed that dismissed Black Stars coach, Milovan Rajevac has refused to accept his compensation package from the Ghana Football Association.

It could be recalled that Milovan oversaw an abysmal performance from the Black Star in the ongoing African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Cameroon.

The Black Stars failed to win even one of their group stage matches losing to Comoros and Morocco as well drawing their game against Gabon. They finished last in the group with only one point.

When they arrived, the Ministry of Youth and Sports had an emergency meeting with the Ghana Football Association where it was made clear that the coach should be sacked.

Sacking the coach came with an issue which was that the GFA would have to pay the salaries for the remaining months in order for his contract to run out.

So far, he has spent three months out of the one-year contract which means he is left with nine months. The amount the GFA is supposed to pay as compensation is $270,000 which he has refused.

His refusal to accept the compensation package was made in a recent report by ClassFMOnline and this latest development has generated some buzz among Ghanaians.
