The member of parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has taken delivery of some surgical equipment from the United States of America.

This was made known by himself in a recent post he made on his verified social media handle on the popular social media platform, Facebook.

According to him, this equipment will be used to set up an ultra-modern surgical theatre in his constituency adding that installation of the equipment will be done in the coming week.

The post he made reads;

“Great news for my beloved constituents.
Yesterday we successfully cleared our fully loaded 40-foot container of medical equipment shipped from the US for our historic modern Surgical Theatre Project.
Installations begin this week, ahead of commissioning.”

In other news, the MP reacted to the decision taken by the government to release a whopping GHC 25 million for the National Cathedral projects.

The brilliant lawmaker joins the tall list of Ghanaians who have reacted to this move and in his view, it is not the best decision considering the economic hardship in the country as we speak.

He questioned why the government will make such a move when personnel of the National Service Scheme, the Nation Builders Corps as well as other Ghana workers have not received salaries and allowances for several months.
