Shatta Wale, a multiple award winning Ghanaian dancehall recording artiste and CEO of SHAXI returns with another mind-blowing single labeled; “Ona”.
The just released record is a follow up to “Drive By”. ‘Ona’ owes production credit to multi-talented Ghanaian beat-maker and SM in-house producer, Paq.
The Shatta Movement head comes through with this new single to satisfy his growing fan-base and the music community as he readies his his fifth studio album titled “Gift of God (GOG)”.
The ‘Hajia Bintu’ hit-maker, has also announced his retirement after the release of this album. He won the artiste of the year at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards in 2015.
Shatta Wale bagged eight awards at the 3Music Award in 2019. He won the ‘Best Virtual Entertainer of the Year’ Award at the International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) this year (2021).
