Former Juventus president, Giovanni Cobolli Gigli has said that the move to sign Portuguese star, Cristiano Ronaldo was an expensive mistake by the team.
His assertion comes on the back of a heartbreaking exit of Ronaldo’s side, Juventus from the Champion’s League which saw Ronaldo watch on as FC Porto thrashed team.
According to a report by Goal.com, Gionvann Gigli admitted that Ronaldo is a great champion but he is too expensive as he reveals Juventus gets 1 million Euros for every goal scored.
He advised the management of the Italian champions to let go the former Real Madrid midfielder at the end of the season.
