The office of the Special Prosecutor Kissi Agyabeng has commenced investigations into the ‘unlawful’ acquisition of lands in the controversial will of Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie known popularly as Sir John.

The Will of late Sir John surfaced on the internet a few days ago which caused a stir on social media. A lot of people reacted to the controversial content of the Will and began asking questions.

Portions of the will of the Chief Executive Officer for the Forestry Commission of Sir John indicated that portions of the Achimota Forest and Sakumono Ramser site were willed to the family members.

The content of the will and the willed forest and Sakumono site got a lot of people talking. The Special Prosecutor has released a statement investigating the unlawful acquisition of the lands and the persons involved.

“The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has commenced full investigations into the suspected corruption and corruption-related offenses in respect of the alleged improper and unlawful acquisition of State lands at the Achimota Forest enclave and Ramsar catchment at Sakumono in Accra…..”, part of the release stated.
