Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe, a board member of the Accra Hearts of Oak has made revelations about the amount of money the veteran Ghanaian midfielder, Sulley Ali Muntari wishes to be paid as salary while he plays for the team.

According to him, the former AC Milan star has requested for the board to pay him an amount of GHc1 equivalent to $0.14 per month as salary as he plays for the team. He said that Muntari made this request during a meeting with the board chairman of the football club.
Speaking in an interview with Asempa 94.7 FM with Kwadwo Mensah Moshosho, Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe said’; “We asked Sulley Ali Muntari how much he will take every month and he said we should pay him 1gh”.
“The Chairman of the club and some of us met him and asked him how much he’d like to take to know if we can afford it, and Just as he said on the pitch a couple of days ago, he said we should pay him GHc1 a month… Sulley is a great strategist
He then described Sulley Ali Muntari as one of the best midfielders and strong football stars ever to be produced by Ghana and as such, he should be accorded the necessary respect.
Dr. Tamakloe also said that Sulley Muntari should not be pushed or forced to play for the senior national team again but he should be allowed to decide for himself whether he wants to play for the Blackstars or not.
As a reminder, Sulley Muntari has been one of the best footballers in Ghana. He has also been one of the key players for the Accra Hearts of Oak after he joined the club earlier this year.
Sulley secured his first win with the club last Wednesday after he converted a penalty in their 2-1 win against WAFA at the Accra Sports Stadium.
