According to reports, Rodrigo Renato Gianno claims that the footballer owes him an amount of €97,320 which he has refused to pay despite his efforts to claim his money from the footballer.

Further reports filed by myjoyfmonline.com indicate that Rodrigo’s statement of claim was filed on March 21, 2022, by his lawyer Kwadwo Gyasi Ntrakwah of Ntrakwah and Co.

Rodrigo Renato Gianno claimed in his writ that Muntari approached him to make payments on behalf of the athlete, his family, and friends.

The writ further states that the transaction between the footballer and the businessman happened between 2015 and 2017 and the amount mentioned was for airplane tickets and hotel rooms the footballer booked.

The writ goes on to reveal that all cheques signed by the footballer to pay the debt were rejected at the banks and he has also refused to renegotiate to repay the debt he owes.

However, Muntari reached out to make payments some time ago but has refused to honor his word, hence his decision to drag him to the High court for redress. He mentioned that he has already sued the footballer in 2019 and the case was ruled in his favor but the player has still refused to honor his word.

He avers that the footballer is compelled by the High court to make payments as soon as possible including interests and damages.
