The year 2020 has been an unpredictable year. In an election, it will be a swing region or state.  As the year is coming to an end, we still have not fully navigated our way through this global pandemic.

In April, we saw the first virtual Volkswagen car show to make up for the times we are in after the cancellation of Geneva international motor show.

Nevertheless, we have made many strides to bring back our normal life even though we have a long way to go. And for this, we look forward to the second edition of the only auto show on the west side of Ghana, the TAADI STREET AUTOSHOW.

2019 being the first edition showed how the city folks love cars.

It had the presence of the western region chapter of BMW club Ghana, whose display was the highlight of the event. Engine revs, donuts, and burnouts among others.

Asidu the inventor, who manufactures his manufactures his own cars from his backyard. Many who had not seen his works were surprised to know that we have such a talent in the region.

This year’s edition promises to move up the gear. Spectators as well as participating groups and individuals can’t wait for the event to come off so that they can show off what they have.

Participating groups the western rand central region chapter of the BMW club, making their second successive appearance, Asidu the inventor with new works for display, HLF motor sports, MFCB bikers group, and 911.

Activities for this year’s edition include a street procession which starts at Anamase (around the fish), located at Sekondi naval junior officers’ mess through some principal streets to the Takoradi mall. With the assistance of a police dispatch rider, it promises to be a safe and smooth ride.

At the mall, each car group will introduce and give details about themselves. There will also be hood pop-ups, drifting, burnout session, interviews, and photoshoot session.

Make a date for the 2nd edition of the Taadi street auto show happening on the 19th of December, 2020 at the Takoradi mall. Bring your unique car or motorbike and show off what you have.
