Bernard Antwi Boasiako, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) regional chairman for Ashanti, claimed that he is oblivious to any type of apology from United Television (UTV).

The Chairman, also known as Wontumi, has received an apology from United Television for some derogatory remarks made about him on Saturday during United Showbiz.

However, Wontumi has moved forward with suing the TV network, the show’s host, and some of the show’s commentators.

Wontui has filed a lawsuit notwithstanding United Television and its bosses’ regrets for the derogatory remarks they made about him.

Wontumi said he is blind to any sort of apologies from the television station when discussing the matter on Accra’s Metro Television.

“Paul I don’t want to talk about it because the thing is in court and you are a student of law so you don’t need to talk about it,” he said. When Paul chose to show it to him he retorted “you can show but it doesn’t mean I can see. If you are showing it means you are showing. Paul I’m saying the things that are in court I don’t talk about it,” he said.
