According to her, what inspired her decision to cast her vote for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) was that they always provide hope for the hopeless.

She made this known while reacting to a post of Madam Ursula Owusu after she introduced an initiative to assist the youth in her constituency.

The post captures the moment a nursing mother arrived at an exams hall with her baby to write an aptitude test for selection to training as a Mechanical Technician under the Govt’s Accelerated Oil and Gas Capacity Building Programme (AOGC).

According to the post, the program, sponsored by the Petroleum Commission, has recruited 100 young people with a degree or HND in Engineering. Applicants were selected from across Ghana to train as technicians at no cost to work on offshore oil and gas installations such as FPSOs and drillships. The aim is to reduce the expatriate technicians in our offshore oil and gas industry.

The program is fully sponsored for 6 months in residence leading to the UK City and Guilds Qualification. The cost is US$ 7,500 to train one person.

In reaction to this, Evangelist Diana Asamoah expressed her undying gratitude to MP Ursula Owusu for the introduction of the initiative, adding that her party, NPP always provides hope for the hopeless, and that motivated her reason to vote for the party.

She wrote; This is why I voted for NPP, they provide hope for the hopelessThis lady taking the exam arrived at the aptitude test exam hall with her baby and deep down she. Knows that’s going to changer her life forever Thank you Ursula Owusu for such a program
