The majority leader in Ghana’s parliament, Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu has asserted that the current players in the current Black Stars team are not good enough.

He made this known in a recent parliamentary sitting where the lawmakers were discussing the performance of the Black Stars at the ongoing African Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The Black Stars of Ghana failed to win a match in the tournament and ended up with only one point after losing to Morocco and Comoros and drawing their game with Gabon.

This was also the first time since 2006 that they have failed to progress past the group stages of the competition.

In his submission in parliament, the majority leader stated plainly that the current players are not up there suggesting that they are only playing with their ‘big names’.
